Find Skills

Find Skills is a built-in plugin that is enabled by default.

It helps agents discover and install reusable skills when a user asks for a capability that is not already obvious from the current toolset.

What it adds

skill discovery across the broader agent-skill ecosystem
installation guidance when a user wants to extend an agent
a structured path for requests like find a skill for X or is there a skill that can do Y

You usually do not open a dedicated Find Skills screen.

Instead, this plugin matters when an agent is trying to answer requests such as:

how to add a new capability
which skill already exists for a niche workflow
whether a specialized workflow should be solved by installing a skill instead of writing everything from scratch

Find Skills does not expose a separate settings form in current builds.

For most users, the right action is simply to leave it enabled.

If you disable Find Skills, agents lose the built-in workflow that helps them suggest or install specialized skills on demand.

Manual skill installation can still exist outside this plugin, but the discovery path becomes less direct.
